One month after the release of Final Fantasy XIV's latest expansion, Endwalker, Demi-Phoinix, one of the most challenging mounts, was added to the game with patch 6.05. This mount is a miniature version of the boss in Asphodelos: The Third Circle raid. This boss is inspired by the Greek version of mythology. It also has three heads and four wings with red feathers.
This item also contains special music, a remixed version of the Asphodelos raid soundtrack. The Demi-Phoinix Horn used to summon mounts is a random loot from team Asphodelos: The Fourth Circle (Savage). Players will have to work on it and hope to harvest FF14 Gil and get the best of it.
Contrary to most other duty-related mounts in Final Fantasy XIV, this mount cannot be traded with FFXIV Gil, so players will have to rely on their own luck to obtain it. To unlock the raid Asphodelos: The Fourth Circle (Savage), players must complete all three previous Savage raids, which are unlocked after completing the normal version.
The Asphodelos raid is part of the Pandaemonium questline and can be unlocked after completing all of Endwalker's main scenario quests. However, the main difficulty isn't unlocking Brutal Raids, but completing them. This is high-end content that requires great skills and hours of training.
