I write an email to this sender, stating that OSRS Gold Jagex discovered me and I'm not going to use Jagex's services (and I don't really have any plans to) or send them an email. Then, I get another email from Jagex. Jagex (which I believe to be the REAL Jagex) informs me that the email I received at first was actually from a fraudulent sender who used the Jagex address to conceal their own. They said that they were trying to scam me into opening an account.
This is a scam. This is a fraud. Anyone else receive an email threatening Jagex with a lawsuit? It seemed strange to me that Jagex would threat me with a lawsuit without ever letting me know about appeals I had previously lost. And those of you who know the way things work at Jagex was as of 2012... would they ever consider suing me for giving my account to someone else? That would surely do more harm than good.
My hypothesis was that Runescape quality fell because of Dungeoneering. The 25th skill was supposed increase revenue and players. But Dungeoneering did not boost the amount of players in Runescape and did not generate the additional revenue required.
Insight Venture Partners, major owner of Jagex is likely to have issued an uncompromising statement about Jagex due to the absence of any new Runescape members. Fly on the wall, listening in to that fateful IVP/Jagex meeting 2010.
Representatives from Insight Venture Partner to Cheap RuneScape Gold Jagex We held this meeting concerning Jagex's liquidity. We were led to believe that the new "dungeoneering" update in April 2010 would boost your market share in the gamers' market. Your cash flow has not changed since April of this year. You had your chance. We're going to do everything our way.
