This one is pretty straightforward and unarguable. I've played literally hundreds of games in NBA 2K21 MyNBA, and no matter what we did to sliders, we almost never saw an injury. We've finally reached the postseason, and we've already seen two players go down in the first round. What's worse, when those injuries occurred, the players were allowed to continue playing despite the fact that they were suffering from physical ailments. I'm hoping that the way injuries are handled in MyNBA will be completely reworked.“The overall boost for players throughout the season should be toned down, especially for those who get little playing time,” says the coach.

If you're a fan of NBA MT franchise mode, you're probably looking forward to hearing the news, but you're probably not overly optimistic about what the game has in store for your favorite mode. In the final days before the game's release on September 10, 2K has decided to keep the information on the mode under wraps in order to share the spotlight with more popular features like MyCareer and The City. Some believe this is a sign that the mode will see few, if any, significant changes in the future. Even with that disclaimer, let's talk about some of the features we'd like to see added to MyNBA in the future.

Improve the logic of free agency. In Free Agency, there should be a lower likelihood of superstars signing with small-market teams. Older players should be willing to sign one-year contracts in Free Agency more often than not, especially if the team was a contender the year before. Age, hometown, personal interest, team quality, and, of course, money should all be considered in making the decision, with the possibility of a surprise decision to add some spice to the proceedings.

This is one of the few areas where I think DINY is wrong. There are other avenues for players to develop their skills besides logging a large number of minutes in games. This is where the mentor feature, or even an assistant coach who has been assigned to help a player improve, should come into play.“Improve the logic of trades; the vast majority of CPU trades are simply them making a trade for the sake of making a trade.”Trade logic could definitely benefit from improvement. In addition, the deals appear to be based on overall rating rather than specific archetype fit, and there appears to be no connection to the players who are already on the team. The trade logic should be strengthened by the addition of an additional layer.

Dynamic Player Tendencies should be added. Dynamic player tendencies should evolve organically over the course of a player's career. For example, a big man like Brook Lopez entered the league as a post-up player, but by year 9 of his NBA career, he began to attempt three-pointers, and his shot attempts increased with each passing year. As players reach their mid-30s, they should notice a decrease in their dunking tendency and an increase in their layup tendency.(Unless you're LeBron James, of course.)I'd really like to see some interesting random dynamic tendencies emerge throughout my simulations. Consider what Ben Simmons' three-point shooting proclivities might have been in his sophomore season.
To take 2K22 MT simulations to the next level, you should include a predictive element for aging that goes beyond simply degrading the player's athletic-based attributes. Based on previous player comps and league history, the game's algorithm could implement a function that generates a predicted trajectory for a player's career.

In general, this concept has some promise, but it would require more specifics to bring it to life. There are currently grades for each coach that are supposed to have an impact on a player's performance, but I can't say that I've seen any evidence of this impact firsthand. Coach badges could function in a similar way to M-Factors in Madden, which I'll get into in a minute, but the impact of a coach should be dependent on the situation. Some coaches are particularly skilled at devising plays during timeouts or making halftime adjustments. Some coaches are more defensive in their approach, while others are more offensive in their approach. If those perks gave the players on the floor an advantage in specific situations, it would increase the value of the men and women on the sidelines in 2K. A player's trajectory in a MyNBA could be altered by events such as over or underachievement, injuries, and other factors, such as those that forced Derrick Rose to change his style prematurely. Such an element contributes to the creation of unique stories in each MyNBA user's experience.
