After logging into the EA servers and firing up Madden 22 Ultimate Team mode for the first time, you’ll need to complete a sequence of Preseason challenges. These are very basic tasks to do. Here’s a complete look at the sequence of challenges and what each requires:

Calling Plays – Call any offensive play.
Running Plays – Complete a running play.
Passing Plays – Complete a passing play.
1st Downs – Achieve a first down on the drive.
Defensive Plays – Call any defensive play.
Don’t Allow Touchdowns – Prevent opponents from scoring a TD during their drive.
Don’t Allow First Downs – Prevent opponent from scoring on the drive. Bonus: Prevent the first down.
Scrimmage – Complete the second half of the scrimmage game. Bonus: Win the game.

By completing the above challenges, gamers earn Madden 22 Coins and other rewards, including a 75 OVR player to add to the MUT roster. This will also unlock other modes and screens for Madden 22 Ultimate Team.

In the Madden 21 Ultimate Team, there were 10 Rookie Premiere players available through an in-game promotion. Gamers needed to put together exchange sets for each of these Rookie Premiere players they wanted to unlock. Once they earned the players, they could use them in MUT 21. In addition, gamers would get a Rookie Premiere Token Token for Madden 22 Ultimate Team. Those Tokens allow gamers to redeem them for high-rated cards in MUT 22.

Keep in mind, only gamers who completed Rookie Premiere exchange sets in Madden 21 will have Tokens in Madden 22. Next, head over to the Sets area for Madden 22 Ultimate Team and choose Rookie Premiere. There you’ll find the three options available for redeeming your Rookie Premiere Tokens.

The first option: 86 OVR Rookie Premiere Player (Auctionable, Full Training Value) – Requires 5 RP Tokens.
The second option: 86 OVR Rookie Premiere Player (1/2 Training Value, NAT card) – Requires 2 RP Tokens.
The third option: 86 OVR Rookie Premiere Player (1/4 Training Value, NAT card) – Requires 1 RP Token.
