What do you get when you cross an acrobatic circus performer, a martial arts flow-master and a silly story writer? Skoolyard Sh3nanigans! It’s hilarious, unbelievable and seriously silly. There’s juggling, balancing, air-bending, stories, flips, whips and sonic booms! Fun for boys and girls. School is boring. The schoolyard is where the fun happens! Adelaide Fringe 2021 Schools Program

Between the 8th and 13th of March, the team at Skoolyard Sh3nanigans will be holding School workshops and shows for everyone to learn circus skills, martial arts and standup comedy and creative speaking.

Performers bio’s

Rich Jay: Rich has been a travelling performer for over 10 years. He has been a Guinness World Records adjudicator, MC of premium events in over 20 countries and had a radio show in Berlin. He also taught English in Japan, was a Personal Trainer in London and acted in shows at Warner Brothers Movie World on the Gold Coast. He is one funny guy and has a whole load of love and character on stage, he’s sure to bring this skoolyard story to life and have you all in wonderment.

 

 

Neal Webb: The creative director of Energy Entertainments has been creating, managing and performing in events across the globe for over 14 years. 

Specialising in martial arts, circus and fire manipulation, Neal has been part of the entertainment world since leaving school. Studying the art of Kung fu, yoga, tai chi, baton twirling, poi, dragon staff, juggling, whips and slap-stick comedy, Neal has an all round skill set that that keeps an audience on the edge of their seats. 

This is Neal’s first time at Adelaide Festival and he can’t wait to share his Sh3nanigans on stage. 

 

 

Rhett Morrow: Being born into a family that owned a theatre entertainment restaurant, Rhett grew up backstage amongst the glam and glitter of different forms of the Performing Arts, it was the thrill and excitement of the circus that drew his attention. Since the age of 9, Rhett has trained at circus school and has recently trained at the renowned international circus school in Beijing and performed professionally around Australia and intentionally for many audiences and productions.

Specialising in balloon artistry, juggling and chines pole, Rhett also has many circus skills up his sleeve from tumbling to acro-balancing to slapstick comedy to plate-spinning and much more. Rhett is an amazing all-round circus performer and can bring his professional A-game Shenanigans to this world exclusive Adelaide Fringe show.
