  • Damaged QuickBooks installation.

Solution 1: Copy files to the hard drive.

  • Insert the installation CD and click on Quit tab once the installation starts automatically. 
  • Proceed to make a new folder on the desktop.

  •  Paste the items in the new folder which was created. 
  • Continue to install setup.exe from this folder.

Solution 3: By restricting access to CD-ROM. 

  • Open the administrative tools option in the control panel.

Solution 4: Performing scan and install. 

  • In the command prompt, select the option to run as administrator. 
  • And in the command prompt, type FSC/SCANNOW and let the scan get completed. 
  • After this, type msiunregin in the command prompt, once this is done type msiexec/regserver and enters.
