Despite the lack of an official announcement, it looks like a new Monopoly will be themed around Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Reddit user calysunflower stumbled upon the product at Walmart (USA), and was even able to purchase it. Enough to give fans a first glimpse of how the Animal Crossing version of Monopoly takes shape. Four different versions of the villager are included as playable pawns. You will need to earn the most Nook Miles by purchasing decorations and using Nook Miles Tickets to redeem resources and ACNH bells. Bugs, fish and fruits appear on the game board.

When Nintendo couldn't act any weirder, it surprises. An Animal Crossing themed Monopoly hit US stores without any notice and brings your island to the most famous board game in the world. A Reddit user was responsible for finding this gem and, so far, the company has not commented on the release.

In addition to the board and Nook Miles, the box also comes with beautiful Villagers figures so players can walk around the houses. There are four in the box that come with the initial package, but the Super Mario version even sold more figures later, which could be done in this edition as well. Of course, if you want to make absurd money out of it.

There is no forecast for this Animal Crossing Monopoly to arrive in Brazil, but in the meantime at least we have the New Horizons title officially launched in the country. It just needs to be in Portuguese, of course, but you can have a lot of fun on your Nintendo Switch while we don't have this beauty on this side of the globe. At least it will guarantee hours of fun…
