The digital Fan Festival that aired was entirely dedicated, as expected, to the new expansion of Final Fantasy XIV, entitled Endwalker. Its release date, unveiled by producer and director Naoki Yoshida at the end of the show, is November 23, 2021. At the start of the event, the full trailer for Endwalker was shown, which includes the new theme composed by Masayoshi Soken. The lyrics are by Michael Christopher Koji Fox, while the voice is by Sam Carter of the British band Architects.

Main scenario missions: Here, mages and warriors receive six new missions that they can accept at level 80. Some of them are already labeled with names. For example "Silver Armor", "In the Footsteps of a Dragon" and "Prison of Mourning".
YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse: In the NieR Alliances Raid there are four new missions and five weekly quests for warriors and magicians with level 80.
Dungeons: A new dungeon called "The Golden Plains of Paglth'an" comes into play. It is designed for one to four players and has a time limit of 90 minutes. You need an average item level of 490 to successfully defend the Zolm'ak.
Chronicles of the new era: In the final act of the series with the title "Battle for Wehrlyt" you will find out who will lead the mighty diamond weapon into battle.
Trials: In the "fight against the diamond weapon" you have to stop the beautiful but dangerous weapon - or rather its owner. Cid gives you an important tool that will help you save many lives.
The Queen's Guard: With the "Zadnor plateau" you get a new area and offer a fight on the mountain plateau.
Ishgard's reconstruction: The successful reconstruction of the sky city is celebrated with the "Fetês", which are held every two hours. You must be a craftsman or a collector to participate. If you have participated, there will be a few small gifts in the form of some random items.
New NPC for desired deliveries: Count Charlemend Durendaire will be responsible for your gil, routine, craftsman's and collector's certificates from May 25th. You can submit twelve desired deliveries to the client per week.
Dream test: In the next dream test, the Leviathan takes over from the Titan. An average item level of at least 430 is required here. Alone or with up to seven other players, you can enjoy this one-hour dream experience.
The PS5 Open Beta begins: Enjoy FFXIV with 4K, reduced loading times and better famerates.
Exploration mode: Patch 5.5 adds level 70 dungeons to the mode and commands can be carried out up to level 80. You can also use instruments to add music to your exploration.
New game +: "Eden's Awakening", "Battle for Werlyt", "The Homecoming of the Exegetes" and the complete series of "YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse" are now playable.
Other: New mounts and pets will be added.
Promising to tie the whole story together and bring a great ending to the Hydaelyn and Zodiark arc, Square Enix is not playing around in service by showing that the end is near. The entire trailer is focused on how the characters have evolved since the beginning of the saga and will have a big impact within the title once their plots are over. The developer has not yet released what will be from then on, but I guarantee that nothing will be as before.
