With the conclusion of Madden 21 coins the NFL season upon us, that means the league's yearly coaching purge is all about to kick into top gear. When the year kicked off in September, there were 32 head coaches roaming the sidelines around the NFL, but maybe not every one of these men will be returning in 2021. As a matter of fact, we know three coaches that certainly won't be returning and that's Bill O'Brien, Dan Quinn and Matt Patricia, that got axed during the season. Three in-season firings was the maximum amount the NFL has seen since 2010 when four coaches got let go.

Heading into the 2021 offseason, there might be as many as six teams trying to find a new trainer and that number could jump even higher if we view any surprise moves. Since then, the Texans have hired a search firm to assist them find their new mentor. According to ESPN.com, the research firm has recommended Seahawks offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer as somebody Houston should look at hiring. Additionally, it is believed that Houston will have its attention on Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy. Although the Texans haven't formally interviewed either of these candidates, they've conducted at least two interviews and people came with former NFL head coaches Marvin Lewis and Jim Caldwell. The Texans have an open GM job along with the belief is that they'll fill that job before hiring a new coach.

Since shooting Dan Quinn at October after an 0-5 start, the Falcons were playing things close to the vest about who they could hire next. In the time since Quinn was let go, the group has just officially interviewed one candidate and that is interim coach Raheem Morris. Based on NFL.com, the Falcons also seem to have their eye on defensive coordinators Todd Bowles (Buccaneers) and Brandon Staley (Rams) along with Titans offensive coordinator Arthur Smith. 

Though the Falcons have yet to put up an interview with any of those three, they have set up two interviews for Monday. One of these interviews would be with 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh whereas another one will be with Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy.
