This works for me, too! I believe that which you do is exactly what the instructions state. In the picturecontent folder, create a folder called image. That folder will contain your jpg file, and that is what you drag into the contenttextures folder. Excuse me for the confusion, I'd thought that I'd look over that it was a custom mod. My bad, I thought I'd read that you couldn't make a sim with similar face as another sim. However, if which was the scenario than my initial question nevertheless appears, so is customized content permitted in Sims?
If I made Sim faces which were associated with other Sims, but various, they'd be a fresh character while not having to be a custom character. You'll find nothing preventing what we have finally from being mods for the game, but outside it is game copyright. This is a well known issue using the eyes the customized content. You can nevertheless use the eyes if it is suitable- when it's perhaps not, unfortunately, it's for this sims4 player mode, so it is crashing the overall game.
They might have it fixed with a patch but most likely it will never ever be fixed as it wasn't supposed to be, it is simply a little distinct rule in game that's not supposed to be here. I think you are likely to spot the jpg file into a folder called picture. Sorry about that! I created a picturecontent folder inside the main zip file. Now I have a folder inside that folder called picture. Inside the picture folder We created a folder known as photo. Now when I go to import the jpg file, I drag it from photo folder on contenttextures folder.
Well, when I first started making a Sim like NCIS Agent Jimmy Palmer, I was which makes it a tad bit more than aesthetic. You know, more NCIS-like. But when I made him, it was a mod made by several folks from the SimFanatics discussion boards. Therefore it is not only a mod, is in reality an element of the game. And so the ethics I was speaing frankly about prior to would apply right here. Custom content developers may do a number of things to their custom content.
Some have numerous content areas which can be added to The Sims 4. Some use different file formats. Other people use various Sims 4 versions. Some use a base game and include custom content. Some of those modifications can affect the dimensions and format regarding the content that may be downloaded for The Sims 4. When I drag the picture file towards the picturecontent folder, it doesn't appear in the mod, simsmods.github.io and I have a mistake message. We attempted deleting the picturecontent folder in the main zip file and simply dragging the image file into the contenttextures folder - that don't work either.
I am wanting to get this mod as facile as it is possible for individuals to install, so I'd want to keep carefully the picture out of the primary zip file, and just own it packed into the contenttextures folder. Will there be an unusual folder that i ought to be putting it in? It's sort of confusing, but I'm unsure what's occurring. I am guessing that I do not have the folder in the right spot, or it's being deleted by my computer before I'm done including content.
I do not necessarily need to get rid of my customized content, but i am curious about this matter.
