The wedding I'm sharing today is a relaxed and fun summer celebration with bright joyful colours along with a family feel. On 28 August 2021 doctor Hannah wed corporate finance executive Oli inside a Church of England service in the bride's family's church, the in Morpeth, Northumberland then a tipi reception in the farm of the family friend, Hill Head Farm in Whalton, Northumberland.
The bridesmaids wore from the shoulder pink bridesmaid dresses and green, midi gowns and were gifted jewellery around the morning of the wedding.
The bride wore the bias-cut 'Iris' slip by one of our favourite designers, the slip was simple yet sophisticated and appears exquisite on Hannah.
The full-blown, summer flowers were by. I love the entire bouquet of roses, tied with ribbons to complement the bridesmaids' gowns.
"We gave her the shades of greens and pinks to compliment the bridesmaids and she or he somehow created the flowers I wanted."
The bride was driven towards the church inside a retro, orange VW van, loaned through the parents of Hannah's sister's boyfriend. She walked along with her father, before meeting Oli at the altar, looking smart in the suit. Click
The wedding breakfast was supplied by Fiona Burn and also the couple decided on a towering, naked wedding cake with fruit.
"Oli's favourite cake is Victoria sponge therefore we had a three-tier Victoria sponge with a lot of berries."
Hannah and Oli met whilst being employed as chalet hosts in Meribel within the French Alps at the beginning of 2015.
"We got engaged in March 2020 just before the UK announced its first lockdown. We were so lucky that August 2021 was always our original date. Although the restrictions have been lifted by our date, through an outdoor wedding having a marquee that people could open the edges of helped us and our guests feel more enjoyable about the celebrations."
The evening party had live music from the band.
"We have a lot of favourite moments! Sitting around the top table watching total our friends and family finally be altogether chatting and enjoying themselves. Photographs together within the field because the sun was heading down. Crying and laughing during the speeches. The van ride in the church towards the farm, just married."
Words of Wedded Wisdom
"Plan each day that you will benefit from the most, not for anybody else. On your day, don't sweat the little stuff and then try to soak up every minute."
